MRacing

Since 2022, MRacing has designed and built electric racecars to compete in the FSAE EV class. Seeing the industry quickly shift to EVs, MRacing and Michigan Electric Racing (MER) decided to merge as one team, under the MRacing name, to build an electric racecar.

The first car from this new team, MR22, saw incredible success at competition, placing 2nd Overall at MIS to keep MRacing as the #1 team in the US. The next car, MR23, saw huge leaps in technology, with the development of an outboard drivetrain to independently deliver power to all 4 wheels. MRacing’s most recent success came at the 2025 MIS competition, taking home 3rd Place in the Acceleration event, along with placing 3rd Overall at Pittsburgh Shootout. The team is excited to continue its success with even faster racecars in the future!

  • MR25

MR25 is the fastest car ever built by MRacing, designed with a cross-compatible architecture that prioritizes on-track reliability. Featuring additive, topology-optimized rockers and aerodynamic radiator ducts for improved cooling, its performance earned a 3rd place finish in Acceleration at the MIS competition.

  • MR24

MR24 introduced a pouch-cell accumulator and torque vectoring for the first time, improving power control, balance, and thermal efficiency. Continuing our engineering excellence, the car also earned 3rd place in Design at the MIS competition

  • MR23

MR23 was the first 4WD car in MRacing’s history. The car was built from the ground up around an outboard motor and gearbox system and 600V accumulator, allowing independent torque control of each wheel. Just like MR22, the team also earned 3rd place in Design at the MIS competition.

  • MR22

MR22 was the first all-electric car designed and built under the MRacing name. Driven by 2 inboard motors and an integrated gearbox, the car accelerated MRacing up the rankings, with a 2nd Place finish at MIS to secure the title of #1 Car in the United States.
